Geoffrey L. McMurray, DDS, MS
Dr. McMurray is a board certified endodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston. Graduating near the top of his class, Dr. McMurray was admitted to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
Immediately following dental school, Dr. McMurray completed an additional two-year training program to complete his Certificate of Endodontics at the Naval Postgraduate Dental School in Bethesda, Maryland. He concurrently received his Master of Science degree in Oral Biology.
Following his endodontic residency, Dr. McMurray spent three years in Okinawa, Japan as a Staff Endodontist with the United States Navy. He then spent four years at Naval Station Great Lakes in Illinois. While in Illinois, Dr. McMurray also practiced as an associate with the largest endodontic group practice in Wisconsin.
Prior to pursuing his career in endodontics, Dr. McMurray served as an Armored Cavalry Officer in the United States Army. He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Life Sciences in 1998.
Dr. McMurray is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Endodontics, the Southern Endodontic Study Group, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the Charlotte Dental Society. In his spare time, Dr. McMurray enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and their two daughters. The entire family is thrilled to call Charlotte home.
